Making Things

I have started a new hobby, and I am very excited about it. For the longest time I never really felt like I had a purpose. I wanted to find something that I enjoy and can also make some of my own money, even if it is a small amount. So I found sewing. I was never taught how to sew so the idea never really came into my head that I could try it. I have borrowed an extra sewing machine from Grandma and have started a really fun journey, making things that others can benefit from. Currently, I am making heat therapy packs, ring slings, nursing covers/hooter hiders, and security blankets. I have also picked up the knitting needles once again and have been knitting here and there just as more of a time filler. My goal is to have enough product made that I can enter a local festivals craft tent this summer.
